FosterREG project completes capacity building activities for public stakeholders
After nearly two years of collaboration between ten partners from Spain, Croatia, Poland and the Netherlands, the FosterREG project is coming to an end.
FosterREG is a European Horizon 2020 project aimed at enhancing the capacity of public authorities to plan, finance and manage integrated urban regeneration for sustainable energy uptake. TECNALIA is partner of the project.
This objective has been achieved mainly through public stakeholders' engagement in knowledge development & sharing workshops that were organised during the second year of the FosterREG duration, becoming the core of the project.
The aim of the workshops was to provide public officers with capacities and skills improving the effectiveness of processes dealing with integration of energy efficiency in urban regeneration. Training activities took the form of training sessions/workshops, distribution of training materials, etc.
As a result, around 500 participants benefited from the FosterREG training workshops in Croatian, Spanish and Dutch clusters.
All training materials are available here. The project consortium especially encourages one to read the FosterREG integrated urban regeneration booklet which provides advice on how to plan, finance and implement projects on the city district level.
FosterREG training workshops are summarised in the latest project video. In this video, learn why the knowledge development & sharing activities were so successful!
All training events are described in D4.3
Training activities report is available in the LIBRARY (Reports) section in June 2017.
